New Things Happening in Praize Kidz!

The Education Ministry Team has been working hard to provide a loving, fun, and educational Christian atmosphere for our kids. As we look forward to the beginning of a new school year, we wanted to make you aware of a few changes that will be taking place.

  1. Praize Kidz will resume on Wednesday, September 9th and will continue to be held every Wednesday from 6:00-7:30 for grades K-5. You are welcome  to come share in our fellowship meal with your children beginning at 5:30, or drop them off at 6:00 if you do not intend to participate in the meal. We will have three stations for Praize Kidz, beginning with music from 6:00-6:30 (all children will participate together). Children will then be split into two groups and will rotate through a bible lesson and craft (30 minutes each) from 6:30-7:30. One major change from last year is that there will no longer be a preschool class; however, nursery care will be provided for the children of all of our volunteers (preschool aged or younger). There will be a check-in/check-out process on Wednesdays to ensure the safety of all children involved. We are still in need of volunteers, so please consider giving of your time to help our program continue to grow!
  2. Children’s church on Sundays will resume on Sunday, September 13th, with a few changes in age groups. Children ages 4 through 3rd grade will attend the first part of the adult worship and then are invited to go downstairs together for Mack’s Dock (following the children’s story). Our 4th and 5th graders will remain in the adult church service and nursery care will be provided for children under the age of 4.  ALL age groups are invited and encouraged to take part in the children’s story.
  3. Story Time will no longer take place on Friday mornings.

We look forward to working with each of you as we continue teaching our children about God’s Word and His amazing love for us. If you have any questions pertaining to our Children’s activities and programs, please contact the church office.
